Frequently Asked Questions
Not too much. We want the music to be the fun part of the event. We can do the music from a freeform format to a carefully choreographed play list you supply. Generally, we like to meet with our clients to get a better idea of their taste. We do require that you sign a contract once you book our services. We will not commit to your event without a signed contract.
There are too many songs to list on this site. Plus we add new songs every week. We play all types of Christian Music and clean fun party music as well. (All styles of Christian music) We can tailor the sets to your wishes or we can create a pleasant mix of styles for your event.
To say that DJ's are all alike is to say that people are all alike. One can never say that recorded music levels the playing field. The personalities on the microphone and professional business demeanor can vary as much as a singer's voice.
We already have an extensive cd library which most likely will include the song you wish to have played. Given time, we can get just about anything. Otherwise, we'll be more than happy to play and keep up with your and your guests CDs if they have something special that we don't carry with us.
Live bands tend to be more pricier than a DJ service. There are more people involved, thus more money needs to be made. Being live performers, they need to take breaks. Bands tend to play sets of 45 minutes and break for 15 minutes. In a four hour event, that's getting three hours of music for a four hour payment. Average cost for a live band is between $350.00 to $400.00 per hour.
There's variety. Most bands are very skilled at what they do. They tend to do a particular genre. If you have a rock band that comes in and plays their very best, but a lot of your guests want to dance, you have the worlds greatest band and people in their seats. A DJ can flex with the crowd and deliver just about ANYTHING the crowd wants.
So for about half the cost, you can book DJ Who? and get a wonderful variety of music and be assured that your guests will be entertained.
The big question. There really is no set answer. It depends on the occasion, the amount of hours, and the location of the event. All events are based on a three hour minimum.
What is included in your fees?
Our fees include the amount of hours scheduled in the contract, traveling time to and from the event, set up and break down time, client meetings and traveling fees (gas & tolls).
You will be required to pay a 50% deposit on signing of contract and the remainder at the beginning of the event in order to avoid confusion at the end of the event. Overtime (any playing time not specified in contract after the original hours contracted) is to be paid immediately after the service unless special arrangements are made.
The sooner the better. We cannot guarantee the date for you until you come into the office and sign a contract with us. However, if you need a DJ at the last minute, check with us.
If you need to cancel, you should do so as quickly and as soon as you are aware of the cancellation. All deposits are retained as your booking could have been another booking. Fees for a cancelled event can be used as credit towards a rescheduled date, providing that date is available.
Are you insured?
